SSL (Secure Socket Layers) is the industry standard system for assuring security to submitting sensitive information. Our hosting plan supports SSL connection. Adept Hosting customers can use a Shared SSL certificate for FREE or purchase their own Private SSL certificates! (see below)

All SSL certificates are only available with existing hosting packages from Adept Hosting.
Shared SSL certificate
All of our hosting packages include a free shared SSL certificate. This takes the form: "https://secure1.veriserver.com/~username/"
The "~username/" is the name of your account username. The customer will see your home directory using this URL, and although it isn't your own domain name in the browser's address bar, it still offers a quick, cheap and simple way to get started with secure online transactions.
QuickSSL®
This is our standard SSL certificate, from GeoTrust. The QuickSSL® certificate is ordered in the name of your company, and will be signed for use on your own domain. In order to install an SSL certificate on your domain, your website must have a dedicated IP address. Our prices include the cost of ownership of a dedicated IP address for 12 months.
QuickSSL® Premium
This pruduct is similar to the standard QuickSSL®, but with the additional benefit of a "Secured by Geotrust" Site seal. This will give further assurance to your customers that their details are being handled securely. Clicking on the Site Seal will confirm that your site has been secured by a GeoTrust 128-bit SSL certificate.
